How toward Use Other SIM with Vodafone ZTE K3570-Z USB Modem

In earlier post I ahave describe how toward use your Vodafone ZTE K3570-Z usb modem with other gsm sim. Today I am posting about how toward use Vodafone USB Modem with other sim using default software. Vodafone K3570-Z comes with software lock so that we can easily modify it. When you use other sim with this modem it will says invalid sim due toward software lock furthermore it is not alow you toward other sim. This is just since VMB (Vodafone Mobile Broadband) software block usage regarding other sim. Lest's have learn how toward edit in software beneficial to use regarding other network sim.

Desclaimer: Kindly copy the file regarding which I have describe here toward another directory an then change in original file, so that if you might miss any single step you can replace it furthermore try again. This will not cause any damage toward your modem but have take precaution.

Install VMB lite software in your computer if you alread installed it then bydefault the directory regarding it will be C:\Program Files\Vodafone\Vodafone Mobile Broadband\ If you install it in other location you can check it by just by right clicking at VMB shortcut at your desktop go toward property furthermore click at Find Target button.

For an example you want toward use Airtel sim at the modem beneficial to that just go toward C:\Program Files\Vodafone\Vodafone Mobile Broadband\Opco. In this folder you will see a folder with your country name, beneficial to me it is India. To use other sim you have add an additional MCC MNC Code (Mobile Country furthermore Network Code Configuration) beneficial to your other sim. To know about your SIM MCC MNC code just click here.

Edit First File:

For using Airtel you have toward edit C:\Program Files\Vodafone\Vodafone Mobile Broadband\Opco\Opcos.XML first. To edit in Opcos.XML file right click at it furthermore open with notepad. After opening file you will see below code in the file.

For changing code just copy furthermore paste below code just between furthermore

1. I use "40492" this is MCC MNC code beneficial to Airtel, replace it with your preferred network code.
2. Opco stand beneficial to your Network Operator. Write your operator name instead regarding Airtel.
3. Write your country name instead regarding India.
4. Write your customer care number beneficial to phone. (CC number are different as per prepaid furthermore postpaid customer in some region.)
5. Write your country prefix toward PhonePrefix="+91" instead regarding "+91".

If you want toward use two or more sim just add above code beneficial to each operator again with necessary chnges in furthermore

Now you have toward crate 2 new configuration file into VMC at C:\Program Files\Vodafone\Vodafone Mobile Broadband\Opco\India (while changing in file do remember toward change in your country file instead regarding India if you are not from India).

file 1 should be your sim card provider "MCCMNC Code.XML" (for me it is 40492.xml as Airtel MCC MNC code is 40492) furthermore file 2 should be "Opco-your sim MCC MNC code.xml" (for me it is Opco-40492.xml)

Create second File:

Open notepad furthermore copy paste below code into it.

You have toward replace Airtel in code with your preferred operator. The phone number can be your mobile number furthermore change phoneprefix according toward your country furthermore save the file with name regarding your MCCMNC code.xml (for me it is 40492.xml) in the direcotry C:\Program Files\Vodafone\Vodafone Mobile Broadband\Opco\India

Create third file:

Open new notepad furthermore copy the following code furthermore save with the name "Opco-MCCMNC.xml" (for me it's Opco-40492.xml) in C:\Program Files\Vodafone\Vodafone Mobile Broadband\Opco\India.
