This mod is a old project that me and SkyLineGTRFreak started months before GTA V release but we never finished, now that i know how to create simple object mods for IV i was able to edit the tower and cannon to fit the script behavior and finally finish the mod but making it behave similar to the tank from GTA V.

You can edit how much tanks will come after you and how much stars are needed to send tanks.

The camera number 4 was "edited" to behave as an fixed camera attached to the tank tower, it's good to use when controlling with XBox 360 control.

The mod will replace ripley by default but you can edit the .ini file and set other vehicle, look inside the .oiv file with winzip to see the handling line. The tank should spawn at airport.

You can use the scripthook command "enemytank 1" to create enemy tanks to hunt you, "1" is how much enemy tanks to create, more than 10 is dangerous for performance and script behavior.

GAME DESCRIPTION

Grand Theft Auto IV follows the story of Niko Bellic, an illegal immigrant and veteran of the Bosnian War. After persuasion from his cousin Roman, who immigrated to America years prior to the game’s opening, Niko leaves Eastern Europe[19] to come to Liberty City, where he hopes to forget his criminal past and pursue the American Dream. After his arrival, however, Niko quickly learns that Roman’s tales of riches and luxury were lies concealing Roman’s struggles with debt and gangsters. Niko aids Roman in his troubles while hoping to carve out a new life for himself in the city.
It is later revealed that one of the reasons Niko came to Liberty City was to search for the person he blames for the betrayal of his old army unit: Florian Cravic. Niko creates ties with the Liberty City Bratva through Roman’s loan shark Vladimir Glebov and later makes acquaintance with a major figure of the Bratva, Mikhail Faustin and his associate, Dimitri Rascalov. Niko completes jobs for Faustin before joining Dimitri’s plot to betray Faustin and take over the organization. Niko assassinates Faustin on Dimitri’s orders, but is then betrayed by Dimitri himself. It is revealed that Dimitri is actually in collusion with Ray Bulgarin, a former employer of Niko who orders his men to kill him. Niko fights his way through the ambush with the help of Little Jacob, a Jamaican arms dealer whom Niko befriended earlier. Dimitri and Bulgarin escape, however, and Jacob suggests dealing with them later.

you want use some of my V Style mods in that map you need to download this compatibility pack that i made today, it fixes a common issue that my scripts had in this map. So, install the original .oiv file then overwrite the DLL in gta Scripts folder with the DLL from the compatibility pack :)
I didn't tested all but Tank, Jet P996, Parachute IV, Dual Wielding and Max Payne IV are working fine :)

Minimap map
There is a radar.img that you can use to see the correct map in the minimap, download it here (by MajesticNL). Copy it to your "pc\models\cdimages\" gta folder.
Installation
This is what i recommend to do:
-Make a copy of your GTA folder with patch 1.0.7.0 and rename it to whatever you want
-Download the map mod file
-Extract the content to a folder
-Copy folder "viiv" and files RIL.ViIV.EpisodeHook.dll and RIL.ViIV.Tooling.asi (and maybe xlive.dll) to your newGTA folder
-Run the game using LaunchGTAIV.exe.

At first start it will keep the black screen for a long time, something like 5 minutes, don't touch the PC ^^, after that it should show "Loading..." and after some seconds show player in a car, then you are ready to play. The next startups should be normal.
Tip: Make sure that your Clip Capture option is set to On on the destination GTA.

Taxi bug: Case you experience the taxi bug (lot of taxi on streets) when driving the tank, you can use this script to help reduce this bug, extract it to your gta Scripts folder.
