Zuma's Revenge! gameplay is relatively unchanged compared to its predecessor, although there are several new features including "slider" stages and new powerups.
A new features of Zuma's Revenge! is boss battles. While handling the usual Zuma gameplay, the players must also clear a gap to fire a ball at the boss enough times to defeat it.
Zuma's Revenge! introduces a new Polynesian setting, ruled by the angry god and final boss of the game, Zhaka Mu.
